So if you only have one screen, trade only one symbol you use the attached version, if you trade multiple symbols, on multiple screens you use the detached version.īut despite of that, if you go to Window > Show Detached Windows in Inactive Workspaces, if you deselect it, when you change between workspaces the detached DOM's from one workspace will be "minimized" has all other windows from that workspace. Go to File > New > DOM Window and you'll open a detached DOM window. That DOM is attached to the workspace or better said, attached to MC itself, you cannot detached it from MC. But I guess something either broke down in MC9 or if it has always worked like this, then released status in above PM request is wrong. I don't use DOM much so personally it doesn't affect me. DOM doesn't integrate in a workspace as closely as a chart. I don't remember whether it has been working since version 8.0 or not, but it is definitely not working in version 9.0. Above entry says that it has been released in version 8.0, but this doesn't work in version 9.0.
